John Frieda DREAM CURLS *Rolls Eyes*

ARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ...Totally not even the best no where near close I mean the first time I used it and noticed it weighed down my hair and my curls I was like ehhhhh maybe I did it wrong..so that was on a weekend...so Of course I Do just about the dumbest thing and spray it on my hair right before I walk out the door for work...ugh soon as i got to my desk and looked in the mirror I was embarassed...i mean it looked like loose wavessssss all around ..Like how do you convert my natural curls into waves and you're called DREAM CURLS...I thought it would minimize frizz while keeping my curls in tact...Was MYYYYYY assumption wrong or what ??..needless to say it's another totally rip off buy for my Junkie nature and i'm OVER IT .. *9 thumbs down John* ...But that wont' stop me from trying something else of yours in the future * winks*

African American Literature

I just had to create this post on something so disturbing to me. In highschool I started reading books like Eric Jerome Dickey and fell in love with reading. Carl Weber was on my next list and then I ran into Nikki Turner o_0 ..I think I completely went "Ghetto" Book crazy...Then after a while I started to notice that i'm reading the same story over and over and over and over...Drug Dealer boyfriend kingpin at that (really?), Grimey friends, triflen mother or grandmother, everyone is basically ghetto, someone must always be dealing drugs, be pregnant, get shot up, shoot some dice or SOMETHING !!!..I mean it took me and my friend Yas atleast 4 hours to find good LOVE STORIES by Black Authors...it's very disheartening to know that most of our African American Lit in the bookstores consists of these types of books. Anything with real substance is in other locations like history or politis or self help, which are isles that alot of black youth don't frequent. I wrote a couple of books in my day of course never did anything with them but something in me is telling me it's not so much of a want but i feel it's a need to try to put books out there that young black adults can read that isn't always about shoot em up bang bang. I mean isn't the purpose of fiction to escape your everyday life and read about something else...I don't think kids living in the ghetto need to read about living in the ghetto...and I'm sure there are people who would disagree with me but that's why the word opinion was created.

Elasta QP (PRODUCT REVIEW)

I have been natural for about going on 2 years now. I'm a HAIR PRODUCT fanatic. If you open up my closet you will see tons and tons. People usually come over and end up taking something home. *Shrugs* What can I say I get very bored easily and can't stand constantly using the same thing over and over and OVER again !!..So I started using QP Glaze. it's a conditioning gel. Some of you maybe familiary with the product [JAM]. It's similar but is very very light and you don't have to use alot of it..just a pinch and smooth out your hair and you're good to go. I love it because I do wear half wigs, which I just started doing it so I won't be constantly pressing my hair all the time and QP GLAZE definitely does the trick with smoothing the edges without being heavy...I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT !!..I would definitely recommend to anyone...now again since i'm a product junkie I picked up the MANGO BUTTER tonight ...I have no idea yet how that is going to work but Dollsssss it smells amazing LOL..I'm a sucka for good smelling products..I'm always like welllllllll it smells awesome how could it be that freaking bad. Once I use it basically TOMORROW because I'm that pressed I will let you guys know how it goes. !!!

PRICE - Depending on where you get it, it could be pricey. At Beauty Supply stores it runs a good 6.99 and 8.99 for the butter but at Sally's Beauty Supply I caught the Glaze for 3.78 and Mango for 5.49.

Am I Always The last 2 Know...(HEATBOND)

Sooooooo on a good day i'm about 5'2'' and on a normal day I'm 5'' even or 5'1'' ...So needless to say most of the time even petite pants are dragg'n on the floor for me and how very unattractive is that. I don't like to sew because I stab myself all the time. So anywayz one of my very good friends (Shauntae - Mztaelovey--Check out her blog on the sidebar) she told me about heatbond. Now i'm very crafty and love to manipulate clothes but again sewing is not my thing...So once she told me about this I immediately fell in love. Like I even called my mom and was like "Ma, you ever heard of this stuff called heatbond it's amazingg it's so easy and you can do it on almost anything..well i'm sure besides leather" LOl..but she already knew what it was and used it before so I had no thrill or desire further explaining LOL..so i'm hoping that someone out there has no clue what so ever and that i'm really not the LAST TO KNOW...If you have used it before definitely let me know what you've done. I use it on my work pants every single time. I think during the summer i'll cut off the sleeves of some of my shirts. I've even seen my friend cut off the sleeves of her daughter's sweater to make her leg warmers with heatbond. totally amazing.

But anyway here are some pics of what (Mztaelovely) www.mztaelovely.webnode.com has done using her heatbond. The sweater was initially a turtleneck.. It's amazing you guys..PLEASE PLEASE try it !!!

P.S I picked this up @ my nearest michael's for about a dollar and some change if I remember correctly, very inexpensive.
Love you Much - Nich

Eighty Eight Beauty Supply

OOOOOHHHHHHHH EMMMMMMMMMMM GHEEEEEEEE !!! I Stumbled accross this website via link from a youtube video that I watched and *gaspssss* THIS is going to be my bestfriend probably for a very very long time. http://www.8ty8beauty.com/ Basically they sell Nail Polish and many other things as far as remover, pedicure, manicure I mean I guess anything @ your local nail shop butttttttt the only difference is that it's so discounted it's NOT even funny. I have a huge huge bin of nail polish i've been addicted since birth so anyway I only buy it when I see a color I simply can't live without because with a given price of 6.99-8.99 Uhhhh YEAH it's not happening. OPI, China Glaze and Orly are my favorites and the most expensive so anyway China Glaze normally goes for about 7 or 8 bucks depending on where you at but HOWWWWW about on http://www.8ty8beauty.com/ it is only $2.63 I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW hold in your screammmmm !!! I had to also. I'll post pics on the colors that I picked up. THE ONLY weird thing about the site is that they don't automatically add in your shipping cost and you KNOW I don't play those type of games so I called and he told me right over the phone it was 7 dlrs shipping but when you're getting things that are basically 50-75% off I mean come on. I purchased my nail polish Wednesday Morning got tracking that evening and HONEY it is thursday and my polish is HEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!! TOTALLY in heaven and don't even know which one i'm gonna wear yet so undecided !!!..I will definitely be doing business with them again !!!

LOVE ITTTTTTTT !!!

P.S excuse the chipped nail polish i will be doing it over tonight !!! LOL

And this is extra 4oz Bottle..I like my removers to NOT take forever to get off so I figured this would do the trick

And There you have it !!! Awesome and Very Satisfied Budgetista !!! Enjoy Dolls

....And So it Begins

So This is my first attempt to actual blog about something I enjoy...I usually start them and just write about me and i'm like soooo how come no one's posting ?? *smacks forehead* Well Duh who wants to just read about me that's what a diary is for and the 11 blank journals I own hmmmmm !!

On on that note this is the beginning of something good. I have a not so secret obsession about nail Polish, hair, Make up, Books, Music, Cell phones, clothes etc etc etc. And I am definitely on a budget in 2010 so the chances of anything being very expensive means #1 (I SERIOUSLY DON'T OWN IT FOR REAL) !!!

So I hope you all enjoy and feel free to contact me about anything further that I haven't mentioned.
